Jynger used to be the sole daughter of an aristocratic family out of the European islands until her family was scandalized out of status. Subsequently, they were run out of Europe by way  of incurring many heavy debts to their former colleagues which couldn't feasibly be repaid. Jynger however, was very much a burden to her crumbling family as she had very few skills to contribute to gaining anything of value, but she had always been looked at as extremely beautiful. Though she grew up with advantages others only dreamed of, Jynger had always remained innocent of heart and mind

As they had always been somewhat distant with each other, Jynger was raised with unrivaled privilege but never quite fostered a relationship with her parents. Her doting caretaker, Lolli, was the one to smuggle her out of the reach of her mother and father who would have sold Jynger as a product of pleasure to wealthy clientele.

Though she is 22 years old, she wasn't able to fully understand the magnitude of depravity her parents gave in to for the sake of money, for Jynger is afflicted with a mental disability that inhibits her intellectual maturation and stifles it to the level of an average 14 year old. Along side that, she seems to be suffering from an unknown condition that causes her to go into an intensely violent frenzy whenever she so much as sees blood.
